Properties :  Dumortierite looks a bit like its cousin Sodalite but to a lesser extent, this stone stimulates our brain functions and channels our thoughts. Incomparably gentle and constructive, it encourages concentration of the mind. Affixed to the Chakra of the throat, it is very favorable to the thyroid. On the temples and the Third Eye Chakra, it relieves headaches and lowers fever. Placed on our Solar Plexus Chakra, it allows us to better understand our surroundings and increases our patience with them. Its soothing effect also calms the nerves and helps sensitive people feel good.
