Properties: Peristerite is actually a variety of Albite which exhibits an optical effect called adularescence or Schiller effect (shimmer under the surface of the stone / blue reflections). It is very often marketed under the name of " rainbow moonstone ", but it has nothing to do mineralogically speaking with the real Moonstone , which can be milky white, orange, gray, brown, or even black.
Like Labradorite , Peristerite is an excellent stone for protection. It acts as a powerful shield and absorbs all surrounding negative energies. It is a very good ally for all practitioners and all people in a context of help and listening to the person. She will totally siphon off the evil being of others to protect us. Peristeritis also has the effect of calming emotions and excessive reactions.
