Maṇipura
third chakra : Maṇipûra (Solar Plexus)
Its Sanskrit name means " the city of jewels “, it is located at the level of the navel. The color of the Maṇipûra Chakra is yellow. The animal that represents him is the ram. Its corresponding element is fire, which is why it is also known as the solar center or the fire center. The fire element manifests in the body as heat in the solar plexus. The Maṇipûra Chakra is the center of vitality. It controls our energy balance in order to strengthen and consolidate our health. As the site of digestive fire, this Chakra regulates the functions of the pancreas and digestive organs.
Blockages in this center can cause many health problems such as digestive disorders, circulation problems, diabetes and variations in blood pressure. A strong and active Maṇipûra Chakra greatly contributes to good health and allows us to overcome many diseases. When energy flows freely through this Chakra, the resulting effect is like that of a powerhouse constantly supplying vitality, thereby distributing balance and strength.
The mantra to awaken it is the monosyllable RAM.
